30% - SERVES AS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR FOR PEOPLESOFT FINANCIALS SYSTEM (AND FLAIR)

• Oversees nightly processing and system integration between implemented modules and resolves issues
• Manages system integration between Eagle STAR, BNY-Mellon, FLAIR, and PeopleSoft Financials
• Provides cyclical support for monthly and yearly business system processes and operations
• Performs regular archival processes for system efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

Four years of related experience. A postsecondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of direct experience; 2 years for an associate’s degree, 4 years for a bachelor’s degree, 6 years for a master’s degree, 7 years for a professional degree, or 9 years for a doctoral degree.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external business partners
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
• Knowledge in investment security including interest accrual rules for fixed income securities
• Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles
• Knowledge of trading, portfolio management, and ERP systems
• Knowledge of banking systems and wire template instructions
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work efficiently and multitask under time constraints

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for developing expertise in the various complex systems used by the State Board of Administration (SBA). This position performs regular financial systems maintenance including data integrity validation, upgrades and testing of new functionality for the various systems. The position works with staff throughout the SBA to research, analyze, and resolve complex investment or system-related issues in a timely manner. The Financial Systems Analyst reports to the Director of Financial Systems.
