POSITION SUMMARY

Reviews and analyzes financial results of business activities to determine the impact to ERP\Finance systems setups and activities. Develops and implements systems finance systems process updates. Position develops dashboard and process automation for financial data. Completes various forecasts and/or budgets for organization.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance and 2-4 years’ experience in finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of Financial and Standard Costing principles.
Proficient knowledge of financial analysis and research procedures.
Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, or similar ERP system. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal skills. Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
High degree of flexibility and adaptability.
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
High degree of confidentiality must be maintained due to the nature of the information with which this position works.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $33.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities

Leads financial reporting and system enhancements initiatives by defining requirements, designing solutions, and testing new functionality.
Develops new functionalities in reporting and pursue continuous improvement where there are gaps in processes or where additional data is needed for the business.
Designs, configures, and/or supports how data is integrated into and out of supported applications.
Serves as a subject matter expert on the company’s financial systems and integrations, applying skills in innovative ways to solve business needs through technology and troubleshooting system issues with internal and external resources.
Provides leadership and guidance to new and less experience members.
Utilizes various computer systems to extract, format, update data and files, develop and run queries, and generate a variety of computerized reports.
Identifies and analyzes root cause discrepancies between data sources and integrated systems.
Collects, analyzes and revises a variety of financial data; identifies errors and/or discrepancies; investigates, troubleshoots and/or resolves errors and/or discrepancies.
Compiles data, purchase orders, reports, transactions, contracts and other related documents related to categorical accounts or programs; reviews and/or audits categorical programs and related expenditures.
Analyze and evaluate the organization’s financial systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
May be assigned additional duties and/or special projects.
