A Day in the Life The Finance Center of Expertise (COE) organization at Medtronic is divided in various departments consisting of a fast-growing number of specialists. They offer global support, driving operations, solving problems, improving processes and ensuring compliance. The COE Systems team is responsible for the processes and system infrastructure enabling financial planning, management reporting and analysis. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: The COE Systems team is responsible for the processes and system infrastructure Enable financial planning, management reporting and analysis Support the financial planning and master data governance workstream, with a focus on execution and optimization of existing and the definition of new processes and principles Partner with other value streams and organizations, including Region and Business Finance teams in addressing issues or supporting, executing, improving and defining processes Required Knowledge and Experience: Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance with 0-5 years relevant working experience Perfect command of English, written and spoken Advanced user MS Office (specifically Excel) You are strong in understanding the connections between data elements and in analysing results You are flexible, have an affinity with systems, result and quality orientated and you are a team player with a hands-on mentality Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
