JOB SUMMARY

Join Springs Window Fashions as a Financial Systems Analyst working in the Pricing department in a highly technical role. Partner with Finance, Sales Leadership, Product Management, and IT to maintain and enhance financial systems, pricing structures, trade discounts, and promotional programs for our custom‑made window treatments.
This role delivers critical support through detailed analysis, rigorous data management, and the ongoing optimization of pricing tools and processes. A successful Financial Systems Analyst is highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and adept at translating complex data into actionable recommendations that improve revenue and margins.

Experience and Education

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field and some combination of the following:
  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role, accounting, financial analysis, or data analytics, preferably in a manufacturing or highly configurable product environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, LOOKUPs, VBA) and hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP and / or pricing systems (e.g., Freidman, Oracle, SAP, Vendavo, PROS).
  • Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communicator able to translate complex technical findings into meaningful business conclusions to collaborate effectively across functions
Responsibilities
  • Price & Promotion Programming: Maintain pricing and discounts across ERP and pricing platforms by configuring system rules and unit testing to ensure accuracy

  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Sales to produce approved price charts, option pricing, and other related pricing collateral.

  • Support resolution of internal price discrepancies between systems and address customer-reported pricing issues to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure price and promotion compliance of external, customer-programmed systems by monitoring daily system feeds for anomalies and resolving discrepancies to reduce write-offs and drive price realization.
  • Proactively gather and organize competitor pricing data to support analytics; may partner w/ IT to enhance this process to reduce manual effort and improve freshness.
  • Use and enhance checklists and work instructions to complete tasks and maintain detailed records in central repositories that document project approvals, scope, critical assumptions, and unit testing for launch readiness.
  • Systems Support: Provide general support for Springs Window Fashions pricing and financial systems including Tagetik, Microsoft D365 F&O, Anaplan, and Frontier ERP
  • Identify, document, and design solutions to continually enhance the features and functionality of company financial reporting and planning systems
  • Create and maintain system documentation, process diagrams, and work instructions to establish consistency and facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Administer system access and security for new and existing users
  • Train associates on use of financial systems and act as a liaison to IT
  • Field inquiries from multiple areas of the organization and collaborate effectively to provide a timely and accurate response
  • Analytics & Reporting: Ensure essential information is accurate, available, and accessible to associates to analyze and project financial performance
  • Use and maintain reporting and tools, coordinate security setup with IT, and communicate outages with remediation plans to the user base as necessary
  • Contribute to the development, design, and deployment of new analytical tools, reports, and certified datasets for Pricing and Finance teams
  • Develop reporting and analytical tools to efficiently segment and analyze sales and margin trends by key dimensions (e.g., by price list, discount tier, customer, product) to help identify pricing optimization opportunities and tailor pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Design and execute rapid ad‑hoc analysis projects, delivering timely worksheets and reports that enable stakeholders to make informed pricing decisions on compressed timelines.
  • Support planning efforts by updating pricing inputs in budget / scenario models.
  • Data Management: Reliably deliver accurate pricing & financial systems datasets
  • Maintain master data (product hierarchies, customer segments, price lists) to ensure proper data synchronization within pricing and analytics platforms.
  • Leverage SQL to manage datasets, monitor performance of scheduled jobs, and develop ad hoc analytical queries across multiple data environments
  • Run regular data integrity checks, reconcile pricing records between systems, and log all exceptions; escalate complex issues to the Pricing Manager.
  • Document standard operating procedures for price updates, system configurations, and issue resolution workflows.
  • Assist with small‑scale automation projects (e.g., macros, SQL scripts) to streamline repetitive tasks and reporting.
  • Systems Projects: Lead vital elements of pricing and financial system projects
  • Work with business partners to collect and document requirements, participate in scoping, support development, perform testing and train users
  • Contribute to moderately complex aspects of project execution
  • May lead small projects, including maintaining project plans, assigning work to project team members, and coordinating efforts across departments
  • May help perform integration testing for broader business processes
