Description:

Our Group Tax Reporting team is responsible for delivering high quality income tax reporting outputs for Macquarie’s consolidated entities. We liaise with regional tax teams and business units on groupwide matters and contribute to data and technology transformation projects.

What role will you play?
In this role, you will focus on the preparation and review of components of the reporting obligations within Macquarie Group, focusing on income taxes. You will prepare monthly tax balance sheet and effective tax rate analysis for financial and regulatory reporting purposes, and provide analysis on key tax balances, through consultation with a global team.
You will be involved in the preparation of forecasts for effective tax rates and deferred tax, along with associated financial statement notes as part of the statutory reporting of the consolidated entities at reporting periods.
You will engage and consult with various Tax and Finance teams in understanding commercial transactions and positions to ensure the correct reporting from a tax accounting perspective. In addition, you will have regular contact with both onshore and offshore teams in London, New York, Hong Kong as well as our Jacksonville and Gurugram teams.
