As a member of the Nokia Financial Reporting team, you will have the opportunity to take part in external financial reporting and gain hands-on experience in group accounting. The Trainee position is set to begin around the turn of July and August and follows a hybrid working model, which includes regular presence at our Espoo office. This is an excellent stepping stone for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of corporate finance and financial reporting in a dynamic, global business environment.

• Ensuring the information in the annual and quarterly financial reports reconciles to source data and is consistent within and between different reports
• Supporting the coordination of annual report work by providing instructions and examples, reminding about deadlines and following up on required inputs and actions
• Supporting in maintaining financial statements and the related documents in the reporting platform (Wdesk by Workiva)
• Assisting in the translation and/or reviewing the translation of financial reports from English to Finnish
• Other tasks depending on your ambitions and skills
• A master’s student with bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; prior experience in financial accounting is appreciated
• Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset with ability to adapt to new challenges as a true team player
• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English and Finnish (due to the nature of the tasks)
• MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
