Position overview: Green Genius is seeking a talented, motivated Financing & M&A Analyst to join our PF & Investments department. In this role, you’ll be part of our Project Finance and M&A teams – building robust financial models, conducting thorough analysis, and driving the execution of financing and M&A transactions. As a Financing & M&A Analyst, your main responsibilities will be: Financial modelling: develop and maintain complex financial models for renewable energy projects. Transaction support: assist in financing and M&A transactions by preparing financial documentation, supporting negotiations, and managing post-closing/utilisation processes. Due diligence: contribute by gathering, analysing, and presenting project-related information to financial partners and investors. Marketing processes: support the marketing of renewable energy projects by providing financial data and analysis for presentations, proposals, and investor/lender communications. Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate financial analysis into overall project and business strategies. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field (candidates from other fields will be considered). Experience in one or more of the following: Structuring financing transactions. M&A transactions and/or advisory. Asset management (real estate, renewable energy, credit/loan funds, or similar). Banking. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with renewable energy projects is an advantage.
