Join our hospitality team supporting the fine dining, farm-to-table restaurant in the fine dining farm-to-table restaurant (Danu Cellars) in the Estate Manor in Grand Bend on the 35+ acre Estate Winery. We’re seeking an experienced fine dining server for late summer / fall season. Dinner shifts: Wednesday - Saturday.
Qualifications:
· 2 years of fine-dining experience
· Smart Serve Certification
· Wine knowledge is an asset
· Food handlers preferred but not required
Evening and weekend availability.
Skills: Organizational skills, takes initiative, team player, customer service, communication skills, guests are here for the experience and our staff is a huge part of that, we want someone who takes that to heart and takes ownership and pride in what they do.
Responsibilities:
· Greeting guests
· Sharing knowledge of menu items and flavors, enable guests to make personal decisions based on taste and interest
· Taking orders and relaying to the kitchen
· Serving food and beverages (Including proper wine service)
· Setting and clearing tables
· Keeping your work space clean and clear of clutter
· Preparing bills and processing payment
· Ensuring every guest that walks in our door has a memorable experience and can’t wait to come back
· Other duties as required (Banquet, events, etc.)
What we offer:
Competitive pay: $18-20/hour (depending on experience)
