OVERVIEW

Ficoa is looking for a passionate and experienced Fine Dining Server to join our team.
Can you create an exceptional and memorable dining experience for every guest? We’re looking for someone who is not only dedicated to providing top-notch customer service but also has a deep appreciation for hospitality.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a fine dining setting of at least 2 years.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to food safety and sanitation.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • A valid Smart Serve certification.
  • Proficiency with POS systems (Toast POS is a plus!).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid Smart Serve certification is a must.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and a Food Handler’s certification is considered strong asset.
  • Proven knowledge of spirits and wine is essential.
  • Knowledge of Latin cuisine is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • All candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting and welcoming guests, providing excellent service throughout their dining experience.
  • Presenting menus, taking orders, and providing knowledgeable recommendations, including wine pairings.
  • Accurately inputting orders into a POS system and handling cash transactions.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth service flow.
