JOB OVERVIEW:

Point No Point Resort is an oceanfront destination offering 25 private beach-front rental units perched on a bluff high above the shoreline on 40 acres of rugged waterfront. We are situated on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island in Shirley, 26 kilometers west of Sooke. Our property includes a fine dining restaurant overlooking the ocean, where exceptional service and hospitality are at the heart of the guest experience. We are seeking a dependable, professional, and adaptable individual to join our team in a position that combines serving in our fine dining restaurant and working at our front desk reception. This is a full-time role that requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
• Serving experience in a fine dining restaurant setting is an asset
• Administrative experience or comfort with handling reservations/guest records is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
• Professional, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Must have valid Serving It Right certification or be willing to obtain
• A Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation is required (no public transit in the area)
• Must be able to work a variety of weekend and midweek shifts
