Job Title: Fine Dining Server - French Restaurant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fine Dining Server to join our French restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service to our guests. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for ensuring a memorable dining experience by providing expert knowledge of our menu offerings and wine pairings, while delivering exceptional service with grace and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner, and guide them through the menu offerings
• Provide expert knowledge of the menu, including descriptions of dishes and wine pairings
• Make recommendations to guests based on their preferences and dietary restrictions
• Ensure prompt and accurate order-taking and delivery of food and beverages
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional service to guests, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of French cuisine and wine pairings
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience to guests
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond effectively
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Wine knowledge and certifications, such as WSET or CMS, are a plus
