Position Summary The Fine Dining Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining fine dining standards, and supporting the Food & Beverage management team. This position supervises service staff, monitors guest satisfaction, and ensures all operational procedures are followed to provide a memorable dining experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the fine dining restaurant. Ensure all guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service. Monitor dining room activity and assist staff during service periods. Train, coach, and mentor servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff on service standards and guest engagement. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily specials, menu changes, and service expectations. Address guest concerns and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, sanitation standards, and alcohol service laws. Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary. Assist with scheduling and labor management to ensure proper staffing levels. Ensure proper cash handling, POS transactions, comps, voids, and closing procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas. Work closely with the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely food service. Assist with inventory controls, ordering, and cost management as assigned. Support special events, private dining functions, and VIP guest experiences. Lead by example and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and fine dining service techniques. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and guest recovery skills. Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant operations software. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Performance Expectations Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction scores.
