Description Weekend shift : Friday-Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm (shift differential % eligible) Duties and Responsibilities: Process parts according to work orders within performance and delivery requirements: Understand current flow of production parts and how to group and separate accordingly. Know proper setting up of production layout and correct preparation of production parts per specifications, including masking or laying out parts for painting application. Understand proper documentation and ability to complete work instructions as needed to meet the proper customer specifications. Work closely with Painters to complete work and prioritize tasks supporting on time delivery Instruct and mentor Program Participants. (Providing critical feedback as necessary) Meet Orion safety and quality system requirements. Maintain 6S and Lean manufacturing best practices. Requirements Qualifications: Previous experience in finishing cell with paint application highly desirable. Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing & Painting operations is a plus. Basic understanding and knowledge of computers & use of ERP System for clocking time to task. Experience with aerospace finishing specifications (i.e., BAC specifications). Able to relate well to all internal and external customers.
