Description JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Finished Goods Auditor Summary/Objective The finished goods auditor position performs visual inspections on all running parts and is responsible for ensuring all parts are packed correctly. The FG auditor is essential to maintaining the high quality standard we provide to our customers. Essential Functions Performs a visual inspection check on at least one part per box/container. Ensures correct labels, boxes, bags, dividers, foam, and inserts are being used at the press. Verifies parts are packaged correctly. Verifies box label is correct and matches the parts in the box/container. Pulls overstock for jobs just starting up. Puts away overstock after jobs are finished. Weighs (as needed)/verifies box quantity and tapes boxes shut. Scans and moves finished goods. Keeps track of when the work order is completed and the press can be shut down. Discards box labels when the work order is completed and also monitors date changes on labels and discards as needed. Makes box labels. Gives breaks to operators. Competencies Communication Decision Making Initiative Organization Skills Teamwork Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. At times, fumes from burnt plastic may be present. The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud. Physical Demands The employee is required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. There may be repeated reaching, twisting, and hand movements throughout the shift. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 35 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, 3rd shift position. 3rd shift hours are: 10:45 pm – 7:15 am. 40 hours per week.
