Description Job Summary The Inspector is responsible for evaluating print quality, registration, color accuracy, and finished goods counts to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality control, reducing defects, and preparing products for shipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Quality Inspection & Verification Inspect production prints for color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality based on customer specifications and internal standards. Identify defective materials and record quantities of rejected and acceptable prints. Perform visual and tactile inspections to detect printing inconsistencies, defects, and material issues. Documentation & Record-Keeping Complete inspection-related documentation and ensure accurate tracking of approved and rejected materials. Maintain organized records for quality assurance and compliance reporting. Verify that work orders, job bags, and production paperwork are accurate and up to date. Packaging & Shipment Preparation Prepare inspected parts for shipment according to work order specifications. Ensure that finished goods are properly labeled, packaged, and meet shipment requirements. Workplace Organization & Safety Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that inspection tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies related to quality inspection and materials handling. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but is expected to adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards while demonstrating leadership in ensuring product quality and compliance. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive inspection tasks. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple inspection tasks efficiently. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. One to three months of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training. Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or printing preferred. Must have good judgment of color, design, and print quality. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions related to inspection and quality control procedures. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to analyze and resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
