GENERAL FUNCTION Manually load all size Mattresses on to trucks according to shipping documents. This work is repetitious and involves lifting products of up to 180 lbs. with assistance on a constant basis. This position does NOT operate a forklift Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 6:00am to 4:45pm. Overtime is often required due to production schedule. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Sort items as they are packed and placed on carts by delivery location. 2. Move mattresses or foundations from staging location into truck trailer. 3. Correctly load mattresses and box springs in truck, timely and efficiently, following detailed truck status documents. 4. Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner 5. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly fashion. 6. Performs related duties as assigned. 7. This position does NOT operate a forklift QUALIFICATIONS 1. Basic ability to read and write English 2. Must be at least 18 years of age. 3. Able to read a tape measurer. 4. Must meet physical requirements stated. 5. Complete work with little or no over site. 6. Good attention to detail Desired: 1. Good mechanical aptitude 2. Self motivated
