Description
The Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) Team is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated professional to support vehicle quality operations across North America logistics and manufacturing locations. This role is responsible for supporting vehicle inspection processes, damage evaluation, battery monitoring, export readiness, KPI reporting, and operational quality initiatives to ensure vehicles meet Stellantis quality standards prior to dealer delivery. The FVL Quality Analyst will work closely with the FVL Quality Manager, logistics providers, manufacturing operations, repair teams, and transportation partners to support daily operational execution and continuous improvement activities. This position requires: * Working on site at the Port of Lazaro Cardenas (lower volume than Veracruz but more Inoperative vehicles due to battery issues) * Strong attention to detail and operational discipline * Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities * Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills * A customer-focused mindset with commitment to vehicle quality and operational excellence KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   Vehicle Inspection & Quality Support * Support oversight of third-party vehicle inspection activities for imported vehicles arriving at the Mexico Ports, Saltillo and Toluca complexes. * Perform and support inspections of export vehicles prior to shipment by rail or flatbed to ensure compliance with Stellantis quality standards. * Assist in identifying, documenting, and escalating vehicle quality concerns and damages. * Support vehicle quality containment activities to minimize shipment disruptions and customer impacts   Damage Evaluation & Repair Coordination * Evaluate vehicle damages and support assignment of the appropriate In Transit Repair (ITR) process. * Coordinate with repair facilities, yard operations, transportation providers, and quality teams to ensure timely repair completion. * Monitor repair status and support escalation of aging or high priority units. * Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of repair activities and operational issues. Battery & Vehicle Readiness Monitoring * Support battery inspection activities utilizing Vehicle Storage Management (VSM) standards to maintain proper voltage and Cold Cranking Amp (CCA) requirements. * Monitor inoperative and export vehicle recovery activities to improve operational flow and shipment readiness. * Support oversight of vehicle washing and preparation processes to ensure vehicles meet dealer delivery expectations. KPI Reporting & Data Analysis * Develop, maintain, and analyze KPIs related to vehicle quality, inspection performance, damages, battery health, repair aging, export readiness, and operational efficiency. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and dashboards for leadership review. * Identify trends, recurring issues, and operational risks through data analysis. * Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on operational performance data. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, transportation, yard operations, and third-party providers to support operational alignment and issue resolution. * Participate in operational meetings and support communication of key quality concerns and priorities. * Assist with implementation of process improvements, workflow enhancements, and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, quality, manufacturing, automotive operations, or related fields. * Strong analytical and organizational skills. * Experience working with operational data, reporting, and KPI management. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience within Stellantis, Mopar, or automotive OEM operations. * Familiarity with Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) operations and vehicle inspection processes. * Knowledge of In Transit Repair (ITR) processes and vehicle damage evaluation. * Experience working with operational reporting tools and dashboard development. * Continuous improvement or process optimization experience. * Experience working with third-party logistics providers and operational quality teams.
