JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to prepare and maintain surfaces for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of grading techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The Grader will play a vital role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with graders and loaders.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
• Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.

• Operate grading equipment, including but not limited to graders, bulldozers, and backhoes, to prepare surfaces for paving and other construction activities.
• Perform horizontal drilling as required for specific project needs.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, including routine inspections and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to build and pave surfaces according to project specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
