We have an immediate need for a Finishing/Paint Stamp Associate to join our team. Our global headquarters is conveniently located in Houston at the southwest intersection of I-69 and Sam Houston Tollway, just north of Sugar Land. This individual will report directly to the Quality Control Manager. Classification: Hourly, Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, and as required to maintain business momentum. Position Summary The Finishing/ Paint Stamp Associate performs all tasks involved in the company’s pad printing process. This includes setting up and operating pad printing, mixing ink formulations, color matching and any other duties assigned. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure paint stamp is as efficient and safe as possible. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions: Sets up and operates pad printing equipment Burns plates used in pad printing process Mixes/formulates inks used in printing process Performs Pantone PMS color matching Reads routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor Be able to sit at a machine for a long period of time Works at a fast and steady pace Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues Maintains a clean and safe work area Performs other duties as required and assigned; duties and activities may change over time Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, various temperatures, and moving mechanical equipment. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The position requires the ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks. The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred At least one year of previous production experience Previous experience with ink, printing, pad printing desired Experience on pad printing machines is a plus Must be able to routinely lift 25 pounds Must be able to work in fast-paced environments and under tight deadlines Occasional overtime to meet business needs Good verbal communication skills Must be conversant in English, for safe and effective performance of the job Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
