Description Operate Forklift to set up Finishing Area personnel work centers with castings and supplies needed and organize all castings to be processed. Job Responsibilities: Set up work centers in Finishing Areas with castings according to priorities set by supervisors, leadmen, and/or schedules. Organize castings to be processed to streamline set-up function and to minimize extra space taken up by castings. Ensure that castings are separated by job in baskets to reduce the likelihood of lost castings. Transport scrap castings to scrap table and returns to Charging Deck. Perform housekeeping functions as needed to keep work areas safe and orderly. Assist shipping and receiving when necessary including monthly inventory counts. Assist supervisors and leadmen with input functions for shop floor reporting program. Assist sample layout inspection with sample casting processing including obtaining sample weights. Follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisors and leads. Requirements Basic Math; Basic Reading (Charts, SOP’s); Basic Writing.
