FINISHING SUPERINTENDENT – ESTATE HOMES

Salary: $75,000 + Benefits
Location: Barrie/Oro-Medonte, ON
We are seeking an experienced Finishing Superintendent to oversee the final stages of construction on a high-end estate home subdivision. This role will work directly under the Senior Site Superintendent and play a key part in ensuring homes are delivered at the highest quality standard.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Finishing Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent, ideally in estate home or large-scale residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing trades including drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and millwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct PDIs and resolve deficiencies efficiently.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to step in and problem-solve.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage trades and interact with homeowners.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades on site, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Perform detailed inspections of interior and exterior finishes to meet company and client expectations.
  • Support with Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and homeowner walk-throughs when required, including addressing deficiencies and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager to handle homeowner concerns and warranty issues during busy periods.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times.
  • Monitor project timelines, schedules, and ensure work is completed within budget.
  • Be hands-on when necessary to assist with minor finishing tasks and problem solving.
