JOB OVERVIEW

Baydo Contracting Corporation is seeking an experienced Finishing Superintendent to oversee the finishing stages of our mixed-use residential high- and mid-rise projects across Greater Vancouver, from Vancouver to Coquitlam. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing finishing work, leading teams, and delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Site or Finishing Superintendent in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and team-building abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and quality assurance principles.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage all aspects of construction projects from rough-in to completion.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety regulations.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor on-site staff and subcontractors.
  • Identify and resolve issues or conflicts promptly to maintain project flow.
