About the role: As a FinOps Tech Lead, you will lead the cloud financial management strategy, ensuring cost efficiency, accountability, and optimization across multi-cloud environments. You will combine technical leadership and financial governance, working closely with engineering, finance, and product teams to drive data-driven decisions, automation, and cost transparency. Which tasks can you expect? Key Result Areas •FinOps Strategy & Architecture – Define and lead the roadmap for cloud cost optimization and financial governance. •Cost Visibility & Accountability – Implement tagging strategies, dashboards, and reporting for real-time cost insights. •Automation & Tooling – Drive automation for cost anomaly detection, budget alerts, and resource optimization. •Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Partner with finance, procurement, and engineering teams to align cost strategies. •Technical Leadership & Mentorship – Guide FinOps engineers and foster a culture of cost efficiency and financial discipline. Key Accountabilities Lead cloud financial management practices across AWS, Azure, and other platforms. Define cost optimization strategies, including pricing models and resource allocation. Implement real-time monitoring and anomaly detection for cloud spend. Drive automation initiatives for cost reporting and forecasting. Collaborate with DevOps teams and other stakeholders to align reliability and cost efficiency. Mentor team members and lead knowledge-sharing sessions on FinOps best practices. What do you have to offer? Knowledge & Skills Strong expertise in FinOps principles, cloud economics, and cost optimization. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and tagging strategies. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation tools. Excellent financial analysis, forecasting, and business case development skills. Leadership experience in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management. Expectations Degree in IT, Finance, or related field. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to balance technical depth with financial governance. Proactive, analytical, and strategic thinker. What do we have to offer?
