POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Fintech Compliance Specialist you ensure that our digital banking and payment platforms operate within regulatory guidelines. This role supports our fintech partnerships and banking-as-a-service offerings by embedding compliance into innovative financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure fintech banking and digital payment services comply with federal and state regulations (BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, UDAAP).
  • Partner with product, operations, and technology teams to embed compliance into new solutions.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments, monitoring, audits, and transaction reviews.
  • Maintain and update policies, procedures, and controls to reflect evolving regulations.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support for teams and fintech partners on compliance requirements.
  • Prepare for audits, examinations, and regulatory reporting.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices to proactively advise the business.
  • Collaborate across the organization to position compliance as a strategic enabler of innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in financial services compliance, payments, or fintech. (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of applicable banking and payments regulations. (preferred)
