This is an exciting role to join a rapidly expanding company, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a can-do approach to tackling issues. We offer a salary ranging between £32,000 - £35,000, travel pay, competitive overtime rates, 20 days annual leave and more. Your role will primarily be servicing, call outs and small repairs of a range of different fire systems across commercial, residential and industrial sites and the ability to identify deviations from the regulation’s, potential problems and risks are important aspects of this role. As well as this the engineer would be completing small works, including enhancement upgrades and expansion of systems. Ideally, we are looking for someone who will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as we are looking for a more experienced engineer who can complete jobs to the highest quality and deliver premium service to all customers.

FIRE ALARM ENGINEER JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Excellent customer service skills/ Have great customer facing awareness
· Prepared to travel for nationwide contracts
· Excellent knowledge of addressable and conventional fire alarms
· Experience fault finding, serving and maintaining fire systems
· (Clean) Full UK Driving Licence
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

Tasks as listed below will form part of your day-to-day expectations. This is not an exhaustive list, and other tasks may be reasonably expected of you by your line manager;

  • Maintenance and repairs of fire and security equipment at client’s properties.
  • Reporting on faults and providing system health checks at client’s properties.
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Understanding the clients’ needs and fulfilling all jobs required.
  • Working to British Standards and ensuring our customers receive the excellent service that they deserve.
  • Support out of hours commitments with the on-call rota.
  • Keep accurate records of all work completed
  • Other office or field duties as deemed acceptable by your line manager or employer.
  • Other duties may include whole staff meetings and liaising with other engineers.
