REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience
  • Experience working to SSAIB and/or NSI and BAFE standards
  • Full UK driving License
  • Submit to being subject to enhanced DBS checks and PNC background checks
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team, in most cases managing your own workload within strict deadlines
  • IPAF 3a 3b License is required
  • It would be advantageous to hold an ECS (Alarm Systems Installer/Maintenance) card or equivalent
Responsibilities

· Installation of Intruder Alarm, Access Control, CCTV and Fire Alarm systems. Adhering to the relevant standards and within NSI strict guidelines to ensure that our NSI Gold approval is upheld at all times.
· Maintenance of Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems and Access Control. Maintenance of Fire Alarm systems.
· Fault finding and repairing Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control systems and Fire Alarm systems.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills are required, as this is a customer facing role.
· Completion of paperwork following every job, from records of operational checks to commissioning certificates. All paperwork must be completed accurately and in a timely manner.
· Covering the out of hours callout rota, which is for 1 week and every 12 weeks – the out of hours rota covers Monday to Friday from 16:30 to 08:00, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Certified illness approved annual leave or bereavement are the only exceptions to being placed on the callout rota.
· Managing the care and maintenance of your own company vehicle, informing the office if any repairs or services are required. Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy inside and out within the boundaries of operational duties.
· Managing your own van stock levels, liaising with the stock controller ensuring that any items used are replenished as needed.
· Uk wide travel may be required for this role, plenty of notice in advance of any travel or overnight requirements are provided.
· Managing your own equipment, ensuring that all company property is stored safely and securely at all times.
