Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Greater London, Central London & Surrounding areas

ABOUT THE ROLE – Fire Alarm Engineer

  • Salary up to £45,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Predominantly responsible for servicing fire alarm systems across retail sites within Greater London
  • Involvement in small works, including panel replacements, device changes, and minor commissioning (e.g. reconfiguring panels following completion of works)
  • Working with open protocol systems such as Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, and other leading manufacturers
  • Additional responsibilities may include periodic inspection of emergency lighting inspections and fire extinguisher servicing
  • This is a hands-on, varied role requiring a proactive engineer with a strong service mindset

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE – Fire Alarm Engineer

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the fire alarm industry
  • Familiarity with relevant British Standards (e.g. BS 5839) desired
  • Proven capability across servicing, small works, minor commissioning, and basic installations
  • Experience with emergency lighting and fire extinguisher servicing is highly advantageous
  • Solid understanding of open protocol fire systems is desired
  • Able to work independently and confidently across retail and commercial environments
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Must be willing to participate in the 1-in-7 callout rota
