Description

At Alpha Fire Alarms, we’re looking for a talented and experienced Fire Alarm Installations Engineer to join our growing team. If you reside in either Essex or London this would be ideal.
We may be a small company, but we’re built on strength, and that strength comes from our engineers and the wider team. Your skills, knowledge, professionalism, and work ethic are what set us apart; they are our calling card to clients and the foundation of our success.
We genuinely value the contribution each team member brings. It’s because of our people that we’ve built a solid reputation for quality and reliability. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to recognising and rewarding the value you bring to our business, because when you succeed, we all do.

CAN YOU SHOW EXPERIENCE IN SOME OF THESE AREAS?

  • Proven experience installing and modifying fire alarm systems, with a solid understanding of the technical requirements involved
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm system brands such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Morley, Apollo, and Hochiki
  • Familiarity with British Standards (BS5839-1) and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system designs
  • Excellent communication skills, both for liaising with clients and working closely with project and service teams on site
Responsibilities
  • Carrying out installation, modification, and minor commissioning of fire alarm systems
  • Completing system upgrades, device additions, panel swaps, and all associated cabling work to meet project specifications and ensure full functionality
  • Maintaining and managing stock levels, tools, and equipment to guarantee you have everything needed for each job and minimise downtime
  • Liaising directly with clients on-site to provide excellent customer service, address any concerns, and build strong professional relationships
