Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our strong, stable, and supportive New Plymouth team. What We Offer Company vehicle, smartphone, laptop, and uniform Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities, including NZQA qualifications Clear and achievable career progression pathways What You Will Do Install, diagnose, and repair new and existing fire alarm systems to required standards and customer satisfaction Accurately record labour and materials in a timely manner Maintain clear documentation for both management and clients Communicate regularly with clients regarding system performance and required repairs Identify and pursue opportunities to grow our client base and expand business How You Will Do It Participate in company and external training to remain current with industry developments Demonstrate enthusiasm for the products and services we deliver Uphold a positive attitude, strong work ethic, loyalty, and commitment to company objectives What We’re Looking For Previous experience in the Fire Alarm or Electrical industry Full-licensed electricians without fire alarm experience are encouraged to apply — training will be provided New Zealand residency/citizenship or a valid NZ work visa Overseas candidates with strong experience and knowledge of NZ Fire Systems standards are welcome to apply Good computer proficiency Full NZ driver’s licence Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can‑do attitude Only applicants with a current legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered.
