About You
Are you near the end of your career and wanting to slow things down? Or do you have a young family and would like a better work/life balance? We are looking for a Fire Alarm Technician for part time work for three to four days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment (including panels, detectors, pull stations, and communication devices)
  • Ensure systems comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and manufacturer specifications
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm components and wiring
  • Perform routine inspections and provide detailed service reports
  • Maintain proper documentation of work performed and materials used
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service calls as needed

Qualifications:

  • CFAA or Journeymen Electrician
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with fire alarm systems, maintenance, and inspection
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes, and manufacturer installation guidelines
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Familiarity with other life safety systems
