JOB SUMMARY

Wormald is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician/Electrician to join our Do & Charge Team, servicing our client base in Melbourne and surrounding areas. Ideally you will have vast experience in Fire Systems.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• VIC Electrical Licence (A Grade)/Trade Qualification
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Experience in programming various fire panels and working with fire protection systems
• Ability to coordinate, compile and submit the necessary paperwork in accordance with procedures and in a timely manner
• Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety
• A positive attitude, flexibility and great communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
• Good personal presentation
• Willingness to develop skills in all areas of fire protection

We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Technician/Electrician to join our Do & Charge Team. The role is based in Bentleigh East and will support our client base in Melbourne and the surrounding area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:-

• Undertaking the maintenance, repairs, testing and installation of fire protection equipment to relevant Australian Standards including, but not limited to, Fire Alarms, Evacuation Systems, Emergency Lighting and other building safety features.
• Attending callouts as per rostered requirements.
• Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly image.
• Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
• Completing service records with the use of smart device technology.

The position is a permanent full-time position and will require the successful candidate to be available to participate in a callout roster and be available to travel to regional surrounding areas from time to time.
