JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical, Fire Alarm systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure the highest level of safety and satisfaction for our clients.

This role is ideal for someone with:

• A Vermont Journeyman Electrician License
• Type S and/or TQP Licenses
• Vermont Master Electrician License

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems, including fire alarms and low voltage systems.
• Foster a positive team environment by working collaboratively with other technicians and office/scheduling staff
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform field service tasks, including troubleshooting issues with alarm systems and providing effective solutions, communicating with managers and office team on follow ups for the customers etc.
• Work with various hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of the NFPA, Life Safety 101, and National Electrical Code (NEC) as it relates to Fire Alarm Systems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the company’s quality standards and safety regulations.
