JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and customer service skills to effectively address client needs and provide high-quality service.

SKILLS

  • A motivated electrical leader with a drive for results who is flexible and loves using technology and working with a team.
  • At least one year of related work experience.
  • Must be experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and have at least basic writing skills.
  • As the subject matter expert for life safety and fire alarm systems in a region, must be willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities
  • As the technical adviser on fire alarm systems programming and configuration, work with installation team and local fire marshal to ensure that all code requirements are met.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team, other trades and customers, partnering with the superintendent and foremen to ensure production is on track.
  • Work with local jurisdiction (fire marshal) to ensure code compliance.
  • Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time, adheres to the blueprints and specifications, and exceeds customer expectations.
