Description

Key Responsibilities Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on fire and gas detection systems, alarms, and suppression equipment across the site. Install and commission fire detection, gas monitoring, and firefighting systems in line with project and site-specific requirements. Perform functional testing, calibration, and loop checks of detectors, panels, and suppression systems. Diagnose and repair faults in fire and gas systems to ensure operational reliability. Ensure systems meet NFPA, IEC, and Qatar Energy site standards. Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and maintenance reports. Adhere to Site HSE standards, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work systems during all activities. Requirements Qualification Diploma/Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Fire Safety Engineering. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in fire and gas detection systems, preferably within oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.
