Egis’ long history of providing comprehensive engineering, consulting, and project management services makes it a trusted partner for regional governments, investors, and developers Job Description Review of architectural and firefighting plans in accordance with applicable fire & life safety codes (i.e., NFPA, Saudi Building code, UAE Fire code) Preparation of fire & life safety strategy reports and provision of proactive advice to clients regarding design compliance Maintaining a high level of professional responsibility in undertaking the required review services Ensuring a high level of communication both verbal and in writing Management of individual projects to ensure each of the necessary deliverable required by clients are met Ensuring a thorough understanding of NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, UAE Fire code, Saudi Building & Fire code and each of the relevant design standards such as NFPA 13, 14, 72, 92 etc Use of all necessary architectural and design software (CAD, Bluebeam) Experienced in CFD modelling and smoke management is preferable Qualifications Bachelor or Masters in Fire Engineering Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: General Engineering Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Design and Engineering Profession: Electrical and Mechanical
