Description

Due to continued growth of the company, we are looking for a further Fire & Security Engineer to join our expanding team.
This is an exciting role to join a well established company, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a humble, can-do approach to tackling issues.
You will report to the service manager and be responsible for the maintenance of Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting and Fire Extinguishers in and around Devon and Cornwall areas on a wide variety of clients’ sites.
Your role will primarily be servicing, call outs, small repairs and some installation works. Training will be provided in the role and you will have exposure to a large range of systems. You will be required to visit a wide range of sites and required to deliver the highest levels of service to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

The Ideal candidate will have experience working on various Fire Alarm systems (Ideally 2-5 years’ experience) Emergency Lighting and be Fire Extinguisher trained, although this is not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
Please provide copies of all certification, details on technical skills and previous experience. The salary level is highly dependent on experiences and references you may have.

Responsibilities

Tasks as listed below will form part of your day-to-day expectations. This is not an exhaustive list and other tasks may be reasonably expected of you by your line manager;

  • Maintenance and repairs of fire and security equipment at client’s properties.
  • Reporting on faults and providing system health checks at client’s properties.
  • Attending call outs and being part of the on call rota for the region.
  • Updating the CRM system.
  • Visiting clients’ properties.
  • Other office or field duties as deemed acceptable by your line manager or employer.
  • Other duties may include whole staff meetings and liaising with other engineers.
