JOB OVERVIEW:

Millennium Fire & Security Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire and Security Alarm Installer to join our Field Operations team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on installing, testing, and troubleshooting fire and security alarms, access control systems, and camera systems for commercial, industrial and residential clients. We’re looking for someone who not only understands technical systems but also values clear communication, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of relevant fire and security alarm, access control and camera system installation experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics
  • Strong technical skills with tools and test equipment
  • Clean background and driving record
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Respect for authority with the confidence to ask questions and innovate
  • NICET certification preferred
Responsibilities
  • Install and service fire alarm, security alarm, access control, and CCTV systems
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and layout plans
  • Select and install appropriate wiring methods based on system type
  • Use test equipment to diagnose and verify system performance
  • Lead or guide less experienced technicians on the job site
  • Maintain organized documentation of work performed
  • Communicate clearly with clients and co-workers on job status and system function
  • Ensure all work meets local and national code requirements
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean, professional work habits
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably at heights
