JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking and experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our expanding Company.
Established in 1986, Safecontrol is recognized as one of the leading companies within the data communications industry. Based in Louth, Lincolnshire, we have a broad spectrum of clients throughout the UK. Our client base includes: the NHS, HM Prison Service, local council, education, construction and electrical, retailers and manufacturing and logistics.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various fire and security systems on both commercial and residential developments. This will include CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and fire alarms. The role will range from small installs to large systems, upgrades, moves and changes, testing, repairs and fault finding. Undertaking routine maintenance of systems. Attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork to a high standard is required as we are accredited by the NSI.
The hours will be 40 hours per week plus overtime. Some weekend work and staying away may be required. Attractive remuneration package based on hours worked, which reflects overtime, weekend work and staying away. Remuneration is negotiable dependent on experience. A company van will be provided along with work wear and Company phone.
The Candidate
The candidate must be enthusiastic, have a strong work ethos and a willingness to learn new skills. Relevant industry experience/qualifications are required. Sound technical and industry knowledge is a must. ECS or CSCS card are required. You must be practical and have the ability to work well as part of a team, but also have the ability to work on your own. Ultimately, the candidate will be responsible for running jobs on a site based level, reporting to our Contracts Manager. The candidate must be presentable and courteous at all times with good communication skills. Due to the nature of the sites that we work on, a background (DBS) check will be required prior to employment commencing. Full driving licence is essential.

PLEASE NOTE THAT RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN THE INSTALLATION OF SECURITY SYSTEMS IS ESSENTIAL TO THE APPLICATION
