Duties include, however are not limited to: Responsible for weighing, fluxing, firing, knocking up and cupellation of samples in correct numerical order. These tasks to be carried out following established QC procedures and avoiding contamination. Responsible for managing the recycling and disposal operations for pots, slag and cupels and other waste. To make sure all relevant paperwork and electronic records are filled out correctly. To perform other tasks as needed, including weighing samples and sample prep. Must use appropriate personal protective equipment in the correct manner and work to minimise creation of lead dust.
