FIRE DOOR CARPENTER (FD30S & FD60S + GENERAL CARPENTRY)

Location: West London (various sites)
Job Type: Subcontractor / Full-time ongoing work
Rate: £200–£280/day (depending on experience & certification)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a busy and well-established construction company working across residential buildings in London. We are looking for an experienced fire door carpenter who can install and upgrade FD30S and FD60S doorsets, and is also happy to assist with general carpentry or maintenance tasks when fire door work is limited.
You must be competent, self-sufficient, and have your own van. We offer consistent work, weekly pay, and performance-based bonuses for installers who deliver high-quality results quickly and professionally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and upgrade FD30S and FD60S fire-rated doorsets in residential flats and communal areas
• Fit and adjust fire-rated frames, hinges, closers, intumescent strips, smoke seals, letterplates, and ironmongery
• Ensure all installations are fully compliant with current fire safety regulations
• Carry out general carpentry tasks when needed, such as:
• Hanging internal doors
• Skirting, boxing in, ironmongery
• Minor plasterboard or wood repairs
• Kitchen unit alterations and basic joinery
