Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors in various commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, excellent carpentry skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on fire door installation and maintenance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Van preferable.
• Certification in fire door installation and maintenance (preferred but not required).

• Install fire doors in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on existing fire doors.
• Ensure all fire doors meet regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Perform inspections and testing of fire door functionality.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation of work performed using One-Trace
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
