FIRE DOOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location: Sheffield & Surrounding Areas (within 2 hours)

About the Role
Preventr is a rapidly growing national fire safety company offering active, passive and fire door manufacturing services.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Fire Door Maintenance Technician to join our team, specialising in remedial works. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance and safety standards are upheld across a range of commercial and residential properties.
The successful candidate must be confident working independently, with a strong eye for detail, and committed to delivering work to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out fire door inspections, maintenance, and remedial works.
  • Ensure all works comply with BM TRADA Q-Mark certification standards.
  • Accurately record and report remedial actions taken.
  • Work across various sites within a 2-hour radius of Sheffield.
  • Liaise with clients and colleagues to maintain excellent service delivery.

Requirements

  • BM TRADA Q-Mark certification (essential).
  • Recognised qualification in fire door installation/maintenance.
  • Proven experience in fire door maintenance and remedials.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation and standards.
