JOB DESCRIPTION

We are Quay Commercial a commercial fit-out company and we are specialists in making hotel, hospitality, and leisure venues even better!
We are looking for a hard working reliable team member that has a skillset from basic handyman through to experienced fire door engineers however standard carpentry skills are the main requirement and (ideally) experience of working with steel and timber doors.

The varied role will include (under supervision):

• Fire door repairs
• Fire door installation
• Sealing frames
• Assisting with deliveries etc.
• Touching up and making good
• General Maintenance Tasks
• Supporting existing team

We work alongside some household names in the UK and standards must always remain high.
Reporting to the specialist project manager this role has outstanding career prospects for the right candidate willing to support and execute on our long term growth strategy.

To be considered for this role you will need to have: -

• 3 years experience of fire door installation
• 5 years joinery experience
• Knowledge of fire doors and fire safety standards
• High levels of attention to detail.

This role will require an ability to travel to Wembley to accommodate our well-known clients.
This role will also require flexibility on working hours due to the site conditions. There may be some days when a full weeks work is required in 4 days so do not apply if you are after a 9 to 5 because that’s not always possible.
