Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We’re looking for an Intermediate Fire Engineer to join our Tauranga office. You’ll contribute to: Developing fire safety designs for consent using performance based design. Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction activities. Communicating effectively with clients and project teams. Growing your project and client management skills to become a trusted consultant. You’ll be joining a team that values technical excellence, innovation, and sustainable practices. Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$85,000 – $128,000, depending on skills and experience. The role is full-time and permanent, with a minimum of 40 hours a week. Ko wai koe | About you You are a qualified Fire Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent) and bring a minimum of 4 years’ relevant work experience, ideally within a consultancy environment. You’re a curious and collaborative professional with a passion for design and problem-solving. You thrive in project teams and bring a proactive, positive attitude. You’re motivated by making a meaningful difference in the built environment and are keen to continue learning and growing.
