Description:

Argus Fire Protection is a well-known New Zealand company with over 40 years of experience in the fire protection industry. We cover all aspects including fire system design, installation, and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.
We are on the lookout for a customer-focused, self-motivated Technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients. You’ll be working with a fantastic team of people in the Alarm Contracts division and be working on some of the best sites and key accounts within the Auckland Region.
The role will utilise your current skills while developing and upskilling you in all aspects of fire alarm and fire protection systems. You will service existing client’s Fire extinguishers and Fire hose reels, as well as the quoting, sales, and installation of equipment for new clients.

What we’re looking for:

  • NZ residency.
  • Ideally, you will have a Level 3 qualification in HOFFE, or have started the qualification with 1 year’s work experience in NZ or without qualification at least 3 years work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Someone who works strategically has an eye for detail and is results-oriented.
  • A high standard of Health & Safety, Workmanship, and Ethics.
  • Being a positive, willing, contributing, and adaptable member of the team.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and meet promises.
