JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will inspect, test, service, and maintain portable fire extinguishers and related fire protection equipment in compliance with industry codes and standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics related to fire protection systems.
  • Experience in system design using CAD software is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction or service technician roles.
  • Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards as they relate to fire alarm systems.
  • Previous experience in fire sprinkler fitting or installation is preferred.
  • Ability to work with various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, sensors, and alarms is essential.
