Key performance output The successful candidate will be reporting to the Supervisor: Fire and Rescue, and will be responsible for but not limited to the following: • Maintain operational readiness of resources including vehicle, equipment and infrastructure to comply with Airport category. • Operate Fire Fighting and Rescue Equipment and Tools; • Ensure understanding of vehicle and/or equipment and limitations to ensure utilisation within design parameters. • Conduct routine inspections, maintenance and reporting of defects when required and follow up. • Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, ACSA policies and procedures, employee manual and Service Level Agreements/MOU to ensure business continuity. • Activate and respond to all relevant incidents and accidents within area of jurisdiction, scope of training and expertise. • Conduct emergency standbys to prevent incidents and accidents as requested. • Analyse, Monitor, identify, mitigate and report areas of non-compliance (HIRA).
Responsibilities
