FIRE FIGHTING FOREMAN

Safety World is looking for an experienced Fire Fighting Foreman to join our team. We need a skilled professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire fighting systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a valid UAE driving license.

MINIMUM TECHNICAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Fire Fighting Foreman.
  • Proven ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on a wide range of fire fighting systems.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant codes and standards, including NFPA, UAEFC, and ADCD.
  • Possession of a valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License is required.
  • Must be currently residing in the UAE and available for an in-person interview.
Responsibilities
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and Breakdown Maintenance (BD) on fire fighting systems.
  • Service, test, and repair various system components, including Fire Pumps (Electrical and Diesel), Jockey pumps, and their associated valves and controllers.
  • Handle and maintain Fire Sprinkler Systems, Pre-Action Systems, and Deluge Systems, along with their related components.
  • Service and repair Fire Hose Reels, Standpipes, and Fire Department connections.
  • Work on Foam Extinguishing Systems, including monitors, tanks, and pumps.
  • Maintain and service Fire Hydrants and their associated pipework.
  • Interpret pipework schematics and system layout drawings.
  • Correctly set up and use test equipment to interpret results.
  • Ensure full adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or engineer.
