Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Fighting Installer to join our fit-out team. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems such as sprinklers, fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, and other fire suppression systems within commercial, residential, and retail fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in local fire safety codes and installation standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in fire fighting system installation, preferably in fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of fire codes (e.g., NFPA, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, etc.) and installation best practices.
  • Ability to read and understand fire fighting layouts and MEP drawings.
  • Familiarity with various types of fire suppression systems (wet, dry, FM200, CO2 systems, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification or training in fire fighting system installation (e.g., Civil Defense-approved training).
  • Experience in commercial, hospitality, or retail fit-out projects.
  • Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Install fire fighting systems in line with approved drawings, specifications, and local fire codes.
  • Install piping, valves, nozzles, sprinklers, fire hose reels, and extinguishers as required.
  • Read and interpret MEP and fire protection drawings for accurate installation.
  • Perform pressure testing and flushing of fire fighting pipelines.
  • Coordinate with other trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to ensure smooth execution of works.
  • Assist in inspection and commissioning activities with consultants and civil defense authorities.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in proper working order.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
  • Prepare and submit installation reports and daily work updates to supervisors.
