TF Cornerstone Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Fire Life Safety Director to join our team at a premier Class A office property in Manhattan. This individual will play a vital role in implementing the property’s Emergency and Life Safety Plan, safeguarding building occupants and assets, and leading lobby operations with a professional and authoritative presence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed, experienced fire safety professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to ensuring the highest standards of security and emergency readiness.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid NYS Security Guard License – Required
  • Valid F-89 Fire Life Safety Director Certification with Active Shooter Training – Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in building security, fire safety, law enforcement, or related fields
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and security software
  • Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations
  • Reliable transportation and availability for scheduled shifts

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage lobby operations during the evening shift
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the building
  • Monitor life safety systems and report any deficiencies
  • Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies, alarms, and elevator entrapments
  • Enforce building access policies using card access and visitor management systems
  • Supervise and support building staff, ensuring adherence to safety procedures
  • Monitor CCTV and other security systems to detect suspicious or unsafe activity
  • Conduct fire extinguisher inspections and identify fire hazards
  • Maintain thorough logs and prepare detailed incident and inspection reports
  • Assist with drills, training, and emergency response planning
